The first round of European certificates Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge A1 issued by examiners from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, were handed over to our students in May 2008.

The Centre for Irish Studies gratefully acknowledges the long-term support of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland (most recently for the award of an ESP grant to the amount of CZK 510,000 for the period 1 July 2020 - 30 June 2021).
