Galina Kiryushina

Doctoral candidate at the Centre for Irish Studies and KREAS researcher. Her current research focuses on intermediality in the work of Samuel Beckett, and in particular on the transitions between the visual media of film and television and the late prose.

Her essays on Beckett, Sergei Eisenstein, and avant-garde cinema have appeared as journal articles and book chapters, most recently in Tradition and Modernity: New Essays in Irish Studies (Charles University, 2014) and Beckett and Modernism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). She is currently editing, with Einat Adar and Mark Nixon, Samuel Beckett and Technology, forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press in 2021.
