The department offers the following programmes:
- three-year BA programme in English and American Studies (taught jointly with the Department of English Language and ELT Methodology)
- three-year BA programme in English Language and Literature in Education (taught jointly with the Department of English Language and ELT Methodology)
- two-year MA programme Anglophone Literatures and Cultures with four possible specialised paths (English Literature, American Literature, Irish Studies, Critical & Cultural Theory, British & Commonwealth Studies)
- PhD programme in Anglophone Literatures and Cultures, designed for four years (internal students) or five to eight years (external students)
All programmes are taught in English (apart from some courses offered by the Department of English Language and ELT Methodology), although they may be referred to as "taught through the medium of Czech" on other websites. The entrance exams are also held in English.
